What is your style?

My style is more of a documentary-type feel. I do not tend to incorporate those slow motion, cinematic type shots (which are gorgeous, just not used a lot in my films).

You create "a highlight film". What does this mean?

A highlight film is where I take bits and pieces of the entire day, and create a film of the day! It is not the entire wedding day straight. through. I do not offer fully recorded ceremonies, toasts, etc.

What is the benefit of having a second shooter/videographer?

I can only get one point of view or be in one place at once. When I have a second videographer assisting me, it allows us to be able to capture the day as multiple things to tend to happen at once (cocktail versus family photos, different getting ready suites, two angles of the first look, getting groom reaction to bride walking down the aisle, etc.). Another really big thing is setting up audio or lights. Part of videography requires me to set up audio connection/mics/lights in advance, which takes away from filming time. It really does allow for a more cohesive film.

What is your availability?

I am only available for Saturday or Sunday weddings in the local area. At this time, I do not travel super duper far. but a short drive is definitely doable.

Do you require a payment upfront?

I require a signed contract and 25% first payment to save your date. The rest of the payment will be due one (1) week prior to the wedding date.

What time will you arrive and leave?

We will schedule my arrival/departure time based on your day-of timeline. Typically, I'll follow a very similar schedule to your photographer but also up to you depending on what you want.

How do you record footage?

My camera has a "dual slot" function, which means when I record something, it saves that footage to 2 separate SD cards. This is super awesome because if one SD card malfunctions for any reason (because technology sucks sometimes), then I have another copy of that same footage saved on a totally different card.
